Tangles & Tangents seeks to highlight the vast possibilities that exist when artists
re-imagine and interpret these terms using their own tastes and interests to create
symbolic connections. The works selected offer viewers a range of interpretations
and applications of these forms and pull from a variety of influences.

We are so pleased and excited to welcome our first Springer Alumni Artist in Residence, Emily Moorhead to Springer! She will be working with a group of Upper School students from January 27 to February 7. For two weeks she will print and build kites with students!
For the month of January, Emily Moorhead’s flags will flutter on top of the Lillstreet Art Center in Chicago.
